The perfect Italian

wedding.

Letizia Gonnelli

and

Ray Diddens

September 9, 2007

The day began at the couple’s home

in the northern region of Italy near Verona. They rent a flat in this 400 year old farm complex.

Letizia arrived at the church in a

Classic Fiat 500 driven by her father Andrea.

This is the same kind of car he owned when he married his wife Anna many years ago.

The wedding was held in a 13th century Catholic church in the mountains of Italy. The weather was perfect and the church was filled with family, friends, and love.

Letizia was escorted down the aisle by her Father. It was a very proud moment in the Gonnelli family. Letizia wore a beautiful long flowing gown and had a glow of happiness and love all around her.

After the service which included several

songs and readings by family members and friends, the new couple headed out in the tiny car.

What a great start to a life together!!

Later in the evening, the wedding party, family and friends all joined at a wonderful reception for Ray and Letizia. The reception was held in the court yard of their farm complex. There was great food and fun for all. Entertainment was provided by a street band from Rome. The happy couple were very pleased so many people they care about were able to share their day.

Of course while in Italy, Ray’s proud father, Dale, had plenty of good food. What would a trip to Italy be without pizza?
